The Bears Ears Marathon & Half Marathon is a new and modified ultra-fast point-to-point course located on the edge of Bears Ears National Monument in Blanding Utah. The marathon course will start in the heart of Blanding at an elevation of 6,100 feet and run along highway 191 through San Juan County and down into Bluff Utah. The racers will descend over 1,700 feet throughout the race, making this one of the fastest courses in the Four Corners Region. Both the marathon and half are certified with USATF. The marathon is a Boston Qualifier. This course is designed to get runners to Boston and hit personal records.

Last year 18.7% of finishers qualified for the Boston Marathon.
