GR's review of 2015 Blue Nose Marathon.

Review

This was a very fun run, through the major parks and attractions in Halifax/Dartmouth. I really enjoyed the community spirit, People on their front decks with their morning coffee cheering us on, some even provided runners refreshments and snacks. The thing I disliked the most is you go down a hill to climb a hill to finish.

Race Tips

The number one thing I took back was PRACTICE RUNNING DOWNHILL!!!. Other than torching my quads, the punishment on my feet was aweful(two bruised toenails)

Logistical Tips (Hotels, Restaurants, Parking, Discounts, etc.)

Parking is generally well priced in Halifax, if you are coming from out of town I would suggest arriving Friday to soak up the festivities and staying downtown near the start and finish line
