Review
It's a smaller and very well run race. It's nice to run in smaller races sometimes. The course is a long, continuous, easy down hill. I was worried about the heat which was projected in the 90s but it was 60s at the start, 70s at the finish and the course is mostly in shade- except for the 2 miles in a tunnel. I BQed so it's one of my favorite courses!
Race Tips
Hard to pass in the tunnel which kept me from going out too fast. I don't usually carry water but I did for this race because I was worried about the heat.
