A high altitude race and in a beautiful setting. Great weather, well organized, and friendly people. Saw some elk, big mountains, and majestic rivers.
Race Tips
Pace yourself, you are running at 6000ft above sea level. Try to show up a couple of days before to adjust. The course itself is pretty flat with some hills.
Jackson has several restaurants and hotels. We stayed at the fireside inn which is on the course. It was the halfway point between the start and finish

Review
This race was well organized. Locals were kind & friendly.
Race Tips
This race has little to no shade on the course. The views were nice open & quiet stretches. There was not much course support from locals because it is such a wide open place but the aid station volunteers, emergency personnel & local law enforcement were great when you came up on them.
