Beautiful town. Great course and volunteers. Support was as good as I have seen. However the distance we ran was 13.3 miles not 13.1. And the last .2 can be a killer when you have nothing in the tank.
I know it's certified and supposedly it's 13.1 if you cut every corner etc - but I just came to run it and I ran where they told me to and it was 13.3.
Plus those extra 2/10 of a mile adds like 2 minutes to your time,
Other that, environment was great. SWAG was quality - great blanket.

This is a fast flat course but with a lot of turns, so make sure you run the inside corners or you can add a lot of distance to your race. Great course support, lots of aid stations, friendly community and just a good overall energy about it. Weather usually nice but with Florida, you never know. Overall ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

Celebration is a unique community and a nice place to run. The locals were very welcoming and supportive. The two loop course is run on roads, boardwalks and paved pathways and somewhat scenic. The volunteer support and post race festivities were fantastic. The course is flat, but has more turns than I like. They seemed to struggle with the results after the race and it took a long time to get the awards ceremony started.
Race Tips
The course is flat and two loops and is best run at an even pace. If your fast, you may encounter some slower half marathoners on your 2nd loop. I had no problem getting by them.
There is a hotel near the start finish. If you on a tight travel budget, you can stay in Kissimmee. It's very inexpensive and only a couple miles from the start.
